First Baptist Church of Mesa houses a large library of Christian materials for use by the community. The library contains over 3000 books, audio cassettes, CD’s DVD’s and videos. Also included are the historical archives of the church. Subjects covered in the collection are: religion, Bible Study, prayer, Christian Living, Christian Fiction, biographies, books for youth, children’s books, CD’s, DVD’s, videos and many more materials. All materials are being catalogued by computer so that materials can be researched by title, author, or subject. Comfortable tables and chairs are available for you to use and a pleasant atmosphere in which to read. A small sales area is in the library that has available used books, Bibles, cookbooks and prints. Electronic materials can be previewed before they are checked out. Any library holding except reserved items can be checked out free for 30 days. The library is housed in room C210 of the Education Building. It is open on Sunday mornings and all day Wednesday, other times by appointment with the Church office.
